Course Overview:

MBA with Business Analytics specialization presents students with an understanding of the many possibilities for applying data analytics to business problems. Data analytics, and the implications of this strategic discipline, provide new opportunities for discovering insights that can support the strategic goals and decision-making of the organization. Business Analytics specialization is relevant to multiple managerial roles in any business, including the business manager charged with using data analytics to derive value from data and/or leveraging analytics teams to get that value; the subject matter expert (SME) in a business discipline. The learning outcomes of this specialization will enable students to explain the differences between structured and unstructured data, aligning each with appropriate business applications and articulate and align with corporate performance, and the complexities of data management.

Eligibility criteria

Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks for all subjects taken together (45% for SC/ST candidates).

Candidates who are appearing for their final year examination and are awaiting their results may also apply. However, they should have maintained an average of 50% marks in the degree course until then.

Candidates should be competing all their degree examinations before 25th June 2022. At the time of application candidates are required to produce proof of passing the Degree examination with the minimum required of 50%.

Valid score of PGDM PGCET / CAT / MAT / ATMA or any state approved admission test.

Professionals with 1-3 years of work experience are encouraged to apply, as this course will put them to higher pedestals in the industry.

Applicants who have un-cleared backlog papers in graduation are not eligible to apply.

Operations Analyst:

Operations analyst is also known as operations research analysts as the job role includes helpin management to make decisions, adjusting policies and logistics, streamlining the operations and reformulate the policies if required.

Supply Chain Analyst:

As a supply chain analyst, you will have to analyse the data and methods to improve the delivery system of the products and services for the customers and ensure the smooth and efficient running of the supply chain.

Business Analytics Specialist:

As a business analytics specialist, you will have to assist testing, develop the test scripts activities, research for understanding business issues and come up with cost-effective solutions to the problems.

Management Consultant:

As a management consultant, you will be helping the management solve business related problems, improve business operations, maximize growth, create goodwill and suggest possible changes for implementation.
