Course Overview:

MBA in International Business (IB) has emerged as one of the most popular programs in management education. IB provides several career avenues in global trade and business. The multinational companies and transnational companies are run by diverse and competitive workforce and students will find exciting opportunities in India and abroad. Companies that are aiming to expand and establish their business in a foreign country require professionals trained to deal with international scenarios and are knowledgeable about international demographics, work cultures and government policies and priorities.

Eligibility criteria

Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks for all subjects taken together (45% for SC/ST candidates).

Candidates who are appearing for their final year examination and are awaiting their results may also apply. However, they should have maintained an average of 50% marks in the degree course until then.

Candidates should be competing all their degree examinations before 25th June 2022. At the time of application candidates are required to produce proof of passing the Degree examination with the minimum required of 50%.

Valid score of PGDM PGCET / CAT / MAT / ATMA or any state approved admission test.

Professionals with 1-3 years of work experience are encouraged to apply, as this course will put them to higher pedestals in the industry.

Applicants who have un-cleared backlog papers in graduation are not eligible to apply.

Career Opportunities:

International Finance Management:

The major role of the international finance manager is to maximise the shareholder’s profits by making sound investment and financial decisions for them. Hence, resulting the value addition to the organisation.

International Logistics:

International logistics includes transportation of the finished goods through international supply chain through cross-border shipping and international shipping.

Export and Import Management:

Export and import management is composite of operations management, international supply chain and export and import management of the goods and services. Under this specialisation you will also be dealing with foreign markets, product development, financial processes, payments and documentation.

Foreign Exchange Management:

This career option includes the legal side of the international management. This deals with the laws, rules and regualtiond of international business whereby, facilitating external trade and payments.
